Beginning in 1998, The Club Foundation again went through an extensive strategic planning process and as a result decided to launch a second campaign to raise $4.5 million. The new Campaign will ensure that the Club Foundation will be able to continue and increase upon the grants it currently provides for club managers, students and university faculty members.

The Club Foundation is empowering CMAA to provide the most affordable, quality education programs in the business world, so that the industry practitioners can effectively serve the clubs' members.

The Campaign To Promote Excellence...Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
and chaired by Jay DiPietro, CCM, President and General Manager of Boca West Country Club, was officially launched February, 2002. To date it has raised $1,060,000 primarily from CMAA members.

During May, 2003, the second phase of the Campaign inviting CMAA Chapters to participate was initiated. The Florida Chapter gave a $100,000 lead gift/pledge to the Campaign, other chapters have followed with pledges and gifts. There are still Chapters to come on board. The success of this Campaign and the continued support for educational programs and professional development for CMAA members is contingent on Chapter participation.

The third phase of the Campaign is to be launched during June, 2003 and will concentrate on corporate donors. As we continue to solicit and partner with corporations you will be kept informed and updated with names of those corporate entities that have an interest in the CMAA membership.

The final phase of this Campaign is the Bequest Program - The Leader Board Society - will be mailed to the membership closer to Conference.
