Thank you to everyone that joined us for the 2nd annual Club Foundation Run with the Presidents at the CMAA World Conference in Orlando. More than 120 people gathered bright and early on February 1, 2008 to show their support of The Club Foundation and Special Olympics of Florida by participating in the event. Runners and walkers alike enjoyed a morning of fresh air, camaraderie and exercise, all to benefit these worthy charities. The Foundation was able to present a check in the amount of $5,000 to Special Olympics of Florida at the conclusion of the event.

Congratulations to Zachary Thorne, son of CMAA Member Michael Thorne, CCM, General Manager of Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton, New York. Zachary was the top overall finisher in the 5K with a time of 20:53. In addition, congratulations to Molly Matel, a CMAA student member from Purdue University for being the top female finisher with a time of 24:38.
