The Club Foundation’s Scholarship and Grant Program encompasses a wide variety of scholarships and grants aimed at focusing on each of our five targeted funding areas. Our goal is to support and enhance the life cycle of a club managers professional development, beginning at the university level and building throughout their career. Joe Perdue Scholarship – May 1
For undergraduate hospitality students pursuing a career in the club industry.
Student Chapter Grant – May 1
Assists CMAA Student Chapters with expenses related to attending World Conference.
Faculty Internship – May 1
Enhances club industry expertise among hospitality faculty.
Sally Burns Rambo Scholarship - September 1
For female club managers interested in furthering their professional development.
James B. Singerling Scholarship - September 1
Faculty Research Grant – November 1
Provides means for hospitality faculty to conduct industry intensive research.
Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship (due to Chapter) – November 1
A scholarship for assistant club managers pursuing the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation through the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).
LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship – December 15 (Extended)
A two-part scholarship for seasoned leaders in the club industry that take an active role in mentoring.
