CREATIVE GOLF MARKETING PLEDGES $150,000 TO THE CLUB FOUNDATION  

ALEXANDRIA, VA – June 19, 2006 — The Club Foundation is pleased to announce that Creative Golf Marketing pledged $150,000 to The Campaign to Promote Excellence…Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.  The check presentation was made during CMAA’s World Conference on Club Management, Honolulu, HI.

Mr. Steve Graves, founder and president of Creative Golf Marketing, commented, “I simply want to display my appreciation and respect for the men and women of CMAA through a substantial donation to The Club Foundation. We know that the membership marketing initiatives that we perform for our private club clients has a benefit of furthering the careers of general managers.  We very much enjoy the “win-win” relationship between general mangers of CMAA and Creative Golf Marketing.”

Creative Golf Marketing is a premier marketing firm dedicated to serving the private club industry.  Their team of experts have worked with over 600 private clubs on developing and implementing successful membership recruitment programs. The opportunity for both companies to leverage expertise on many fronts is the cornerstone of this truly beneficial relationship.  These funds will support our mission to raise the professional development of club managers through education, training and research initiatives.
