such as scholarships, professional development grants for CMAA and industry-related research grants. In addition to this pledge, Jonas has stated that they will continue to support the local chapter events in the same capacity as years past.
“Jonas is very much a proponent of continuing education” stated Brock Philp, CEO of Jonas Software. Mr Philp went on to say, ”The CMAA, through The Club Foundation, is providing educational opportunities filled with relevant curriculum specifically designed to help any club manager achieve greatness in an ever difficult competitive business landscape. It has become more and more evident to us that this CCM certification is a common element that many of the top managers possess. At Jonas, we recognize the CMAA’s efforts and are glad to be a part of this program.”
Through such generous pledges as the one from Jonas, The Club Foundation subsidizes educational programs administered by CMAA allowing both the club and the individual to access these opportunities at a fraction of the cost. Additionally, funds distributed through direct scholarships to students and managers provide more individuals with the chance to access the information and tools needed to enhance their skill sets. We thank Jonas Software for their continued support and look forward to the advancement of all programs supported by The Club Foundation.
The Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established by CMAA in 1988. Its mission is to raise funds to financially support the professional development of club managers through education, training and research initiatives.
