Benefit Drawing

And the winner is…

Mr. C. Wesley Llewellyn, CCM of the Geneva Golf & Country Club in Muscatine, Iowa was the lucky Grand Prize winner of The Club Foundation’s 7th Annual Benefit Drawing. The Grand Prize for the 2005 drawing was the choice of a Harley Davidson V-Rod, a Kubota Tractor, or $20,000 cash!  Congratulations to Mr. Llewellyn!

The winner of the Second Prize drawing was Mr. Dennis Paul of the Morris Park Country Club in South Bend, Indiana.  Mr. Paul won an amazing Hawaiian Cruise  for two people courtesy of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Get Out Of Town Travel.  This trip included airfare, accommodations, meals and more.  Congratulations to Mr. Paul!

Proceeds from the 2005 drawing benefited The Club Foundation’s Scholarship and Grant Program and the Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2001 in memory of CMAA Past President, Bill Kendall. The 2005 Benefit Drawing raised more than $69,000 to benefit these essential programs.

Tickets were sold for $50 each or you could purchase 3 tickets for $125.  The winning tickets were drawn at the Closing Business Session at the CMAA World Conference on Club Management in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The success of this event was made possible by the tireless work of the many volunteers that sold tickets for the drawing. The Foundation would like to express its most sincere appreciation to everyone that volunteered for all of their hard work to ensure the success of the 2005 Annual Benefit Drawing:

Congratulations again to Mr. Llewellyn and Mr. Paul and many thanks to everyone who supported the Club Foundation Benefit Drawing by volunteering their time or buying a ticket.
