Chairman's Report
As Chairman of The Campaign to Promote
Excellence...Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, I am pleased
to report that more than $2.8 million has been raised towards
the $4.5 million goal. I am extremely excited that old
friends have decided to increase and continue their on
going support of our mission. This Campaign has been highlighted
by significant commitments from our corporate partners.
These funds will be used to continually expand our grasp
on the club market by developing new educational initiatives,
supporting existing programs and offering current and new
scholarships and grants.
I would like to personally thank all the
CMAA members who have made donations. Your overwhelming
response has far exceeded our expectations. That said,
the effort is not complete. Your support, whether financial
or other, is needed to fulfill our goals.
In addition, I would like to extend my
gratitude to those Chapters and corporations who have committed
to advancing the club industry through the Campaign. We continue
to receive positive responses from those companies we solicit
as they recognize the impact the Foundation is having on
the marketplace. We still need your help in encouraging your
peers, chapters, and industry associates to contribute to
the Foundation and support its mission of “raising
funds to financially support the professional development
of club managers through education, training and research
initiatives.”
I have a renewed energy as Campaign Chair
and look forward to reaching our final goal of $4.5 million.
Your charitable donations, through the Campaign, ensure that
the highest quality educational programs are continually
available. Once again, thank you to all who have shown their
dedication to the Foundation and the future of the club industry. |
